Q. What delivery dates are available for this year (2007)?
A.
Monday, February 12th
Wednesday, February 14th
Q. What time of day will I receive my order?
A. We can’t guarantee an exact delivery time. Once we have all orders processed, we will plan our routes in the most efficient manner. Q. Do you deliver outside of Missouri?
A. A. Unfortunately the answer is for the most part no. Because we are a small operation with limited delivery volunteers, we only deliver to the St. Louis Metro area. (This however, may include a few select portions of Illinois on a case by case situation, depending on existing delivery routes).
Q. Do you deliver to St. Charles County (St. Charles, St. Peters, O’Fallon, and Wentzville)?
A. Currently we do have a few customers in St. Charles County. If you are located further west than the Missouri River, we will make the delivery, however all deliveries to this area will be made on Monday, February 12h as long as the minimum order of 10 is reached.
Q. Can I have my order delivered to my home?
A. Regrettably we only deliver to offices, unless you have a minimum of 5 orders and you are located within our delivery area or existing delivery route. This allows us to deliver all orders in the three days delivery period.
Ordering Questions:
Q When is the last day I can place an order this year (2006)?
A. We have extended the last day to order toTuesday, February 7th (while supplies last). However, because we have a small group of hard working volunteers, we can only make a certain amount of orders in a three day period, so orders are limited. I wouldn’t advise waiting or you might miss out! Last year we unfortunately had to stop accepting orders 10 days before Valentine’s Day, turning away more orders than we could count!
Q. Is there a minimum order per office?
A. Yes there is. We require that your office has a 3 order minimum. We have a minimum requirement because it is not efficient for our volunteers to make single order stops. Note: The minimum may be waived if your office is located in the same building as another one of our customers. Also, if you are west of the Missouri River, there is a 10 order minimum.
Q. Do you sell other dipped fruits or candy?
A. Not at this time. We focus solely on strawberries!
Payment Questions:
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash and checks. Checks should be made out to: Chelli Faletti
Q. Why do I have to prepay? Can I just pay upon delivery?
A. Because we deliver many orders in such a short period of time, all orders must be prepaid. Our delivery volunteers have many stops to make and unfortunately do not have time to process and track payment orders at the time of delivery. This would be especially difficult since we mainly deliver to multiple offices. If volunteers had to wait for people to finish phone calls, get out of a meeting or return from lunch, we would never finish our deliveries.
Product Questions:
Q. I love dark chocolate, is it available?
A. Unfortunately for you dark chocolate lovers, no. Because dark chocolate requires a longer drying time, it is not time efficient due to the overall large strawberry orders during the 3 day Valentine drive.
Q. I’ve seen those Tuxedo Strawberries and they are incredible! Can I have my order done Tuxedo style?
A. Tuxedo berries are very time consuming. We don’t advertise them, but we will customize an order and make them available for $35.00 per dozen. However, the amount of tuxedo orders are limited so if this is what you want, order early and we will dress them up!
Q. Does your product contain nuts?
A. None of our products contain nuts. However, the chocolate and berries we use may have been packaged or stored in a plant where nuts are present, so we can not guarantee that anyone with nut allergies is safe.
Q. How do your chocolate strawberries compare to others?
A. For several reasons. First of all, our strawberries are produced for a Berry Good Cause! 100% of the proceeds are used to help care for and protect dogs, puppies, kittens and cats. Secondly, if you have ever gone on a chocolate covered strawberry hunt, you will undoubtedly find our berries are bigger, better and most certainly less expensive. Lastly, we deliver to your office!!!
Q. How large is one order?
A. Each order consists of one dozen chocolate covered strawberries. If any of the strawberries are small, you will receive a bakers dozen (13). We don’t weigh each order, but they are approximately 1.5lbs.
Q. What can I expect the package to look like?
A. Each order is packaged in a clear, hinged container so the recipient of the berries can see how beautiful they are! Each chocolate covered strawberry is nestled in its own decorative paper cup. We tie each container with pretty red and white ribbon and include a scroll that lets the recipient know all about the cause!
General Questions:
Q. I understand there is a way to get an order of Chocolate Covered Strawberries for FREE! Tell me more!
A. To help process your orders and make things easier for our volunteers, we do offer a free order to the person in your office that collects all of the orders and payments for us. This way we only have one point of contact and this is easier for everyone! NOTE: One free order for every 12 orders collected.
Q. I’ve never heard of your group. How do I know this is legitimate?
A. This is our fourth year in existence. Over the past two years, we have donated over $25,000 to worthy organizations. To learn more about this year’s largest recipient and our efforts to help them, and more importantly the animals, you can contact the APA of Granite City. Their phone number is 618-931-7030 and you can find them on the web at http://www.apagc.com/
Q. I still feel uneasy about your group. Do you have other references?
A. We deliver to over 50 companies and many of them are very well known. Because there are too many companies to list, we will be glad to supply you with excellent references. Just call Chelli Faletti at 314-503-5625 and she’ll get you in contact with some of our repeat customers.
Q. Why do you call yourselves “A Berry Good Cause?”
A. We chose this name because we sell chocolate covered berries! Strawberries that is! We do this every year and donate all of the profits to a really worthy cause! So for us, it’s A Berry Good Cause!
